This is the official Settlement Website for the Starr v. VSL Pharmaceuticals, Inc., authorized by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
A federal court has authorized the notice.
Plaintiffs are purchasers of VSL#3 between June 1, 2016, and June 19, 2019 (the “Class Period”). Defendants are companies that licensed, marketed, and sold VSL#3 during the Class Period. Plaintiffs claim that Defendants falsely represented to consumers that the formulation of the probiotic VSL#3 that Defendants sold during the Class Period had been proven in clinical tests to be effective for certain medical conditions. Plaintiffs claim that consumers who purchased VSL#3 during the Class Period overpaid for the product. Defendants dispute Plaintiffs’ allegations. It has not been determined in court whether Plaintiffs are correct or will receive anything from the suit.
If you received a postcard or email notice about the lawsuit, then records reflect that you may have purchased VSL#3 in the United States during the Class Period and may be eligible to receive a cash payment upon submission of a valid claim form.
Your legal rights are affected depending on whether you act or do not act. Please read the notice carefully.
